Shared Knowledge

As a knowledge and fact-based dialogue, the Cyprus Dialogue Forum aims to create opportunities for joint knowledge creation, enabling participating organisations to more accurately interpret each other's reality and more concretely explore and generate options for resolving conflicts.

Within the Forum, shared knowledge creation is the shifting from “I know” to “we know”. It aims to address the challenges that stem from lack of information, misinformation, distorted information and access to and disparity of essential data that can be found in all conflicts. The shared knowledge resources developed, are the result of knowledge needs and gaps that have arisen through the Forum dialogues. By integrating such knowledge into the dialogue, stakeholders develop deeper and informed understanding, awareness and appreciation of their different and shared realities and are able to explore, discover and create common understandings amongst them.

Within this context, the Resource Guides are digital libraries that provide access to such shared knowledge resources on the thematic areas of the Forum. They constitute platforms for ongoing knowledge sharing among economic, pollical and social actors across the two communities in Cyprus. All the guides below form part of the Shared Knowledge Resources of the Cyprus Dialogue Forum.
